Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BeGoal Data (“we”) provides data consulting and AI-enabled products, including assisted messaging solutions (e.g. LIA) for business customers. Controller: BeGoal Data · contact: jonathan@begoaldata.com.

This policy covers begoaldata.com, commercial enquiries, and products/channels we operate ourselves or on behalf of customers (including WhatsApp via Meta WhatsApp Cloud API).

2. Data we may process

• Commercial contact: name, email, company and message content you send us.
• WhatsApp / Meta Cloud API: phone number, profile name (when available), message content on the support channel, technical metadata (timestamps, message IDs) and delivery statuses provided by Meta.
• Technical usage data: server logs, IP and identifiers needed for security and service operation (minimised).
• Support / operations (LIA products): data needed for triage, consent, contact records and appointments, as agreed with the contracting customer.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Respond to commercial requests and deliver our services.
• Operate messaging channels (including WhatsApp Business) for support, confirmations and service-related communication.
• Security, abuse prevention, audit and legal compliance.
• Product improvement using aggregated or anonymised data where possible.

Typical GDPR bases: contract / pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests (security and operations), and consent where required.

4. Sharing with third parties

• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business / Cloud API) for sending and receiving messages. WhatsApp use is also subject to Meta’s policies.
• Hosting / CI/CD providers (e.g. Vercel) for the website.
• CRM / operational tools as required by each project.

We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers (including Meta and cloud infrastructure) may process data outside the EEA. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards are used (e.g. SCCs / vendor processing terms).

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal retention and customer contracts. Messages and technical logs may be kept for a limited period for support, security and audit, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent where applicable. Contact jonathan@begoaldata.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Portugal: CNPD).

8. WhatsApp and children

Our WhatsApp Business channels are intended for adults / business representatives or customers of our contracting clients. They are not directed at children under 16.

9. Changes
